These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Destiny Travelers website, reservation tools, and vehicle rental services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Destiny Travelers LLC (“Destiny Travelers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the website, submitting a reservation, or renting a vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your reservation applies to that rental. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 21 years of age (or the minimum age stated in your reservation confirmation, whichever is higher) and hold a valid, unexpired driver’s license to reserve or operate a vehicle.

The person who completes the reservation must be the primary driver. Additional drivers must be disclosed and approved before pickup and must meet the same license requirements.

Driver verification is required before pickup. We may decline or cancel a reservation if verification cannot be completed, if the license is invalid, expired, or suspended, or if information provided is inaccurate.

You may not permit any person who is not an approved driver to operate the vehicle.

Reservations are completed through our booking platform (Wheelbase). Live availability, pricing, and vehicle details are shown at the time of booking.

A reservation request is not a guarantee of a rental. Your rental is confirmed only when you receive a booking confirmation from the booking platform.

The exact pickup address is provided after rental confirmation. Public pages show general pickup areas only.

We reserve the right to substitute a comparable vehicle if the reserved vehicle becomes unavailable due to maintenance, damage, or circumstances beyond our control. If no comparable vehicle is available, you may cancel for a full refund of amounts paid.

You are responsible for reviewing your confirmation for accuracy, including dates, times, vehicle, and pickup details, and for notifying us promptly of any errors.

Rental rates, fees, taxes, and any applicable deposits are displayed during booking and in your confirmation. All charges are processed through the booking platform’s secure payment system.

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle and rental length. The deposit amount is stated in your reservation confirmation.

The security deposit is returned after the vehicle is returned and the documented check-in is complete with no new damage, missing items, policy violations, tolls, tickets, or cleaning issues. Deductions, if any, will be itemized.

You authorize us and the booking platform to charge the payment method on file for rental charges, deposits, extensions, late returns, fuel differences, cleaning fees, damage, tolls, citations, and other amounts owed under these Terms.

Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the confirmed location, date, and time. Check-in and check-out are documented with photos.

Late returns may incur additional charges. If you need more time, request an extension through the booking platform before your scheduled return time. Extensions are subject to availability and approval.

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. Fuel differences may be charged at the refueling rate stated in your confirmation.

Airport pickup (DTW) takes place at the designated rental meeting area. You are responsible for sharing accurate flight details so the handoff can be timed appropriately.

If you fail to pick up the vehicle within a reasonable window after your scheduled time without notice, the reservation may be treated as a no-show and cancelled per the cancellation policy.

Vehicles are intended for lawful personal or business travel in and around Metro Detroit, Michigan. Extended or out-of-state travel should be noted in your reservation updates.

You may NOT use the vehicle: (a) for illegal activity; (b) to carry passengers or property for hire (including rideshare or delivery services) unless expressly authorized in writing; (c) for racing, testing, or off-road use; (d) to tow or push anything; (e) while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance; (f) to transport hazardous materials; or (g) in violation of any law or regulation.

All vehicles are strictly smoke free. Smoking, vaping, or excessive soiling will result in cleaning fees.

Pets are permitted only with prior approval and must be properly contained. Cleaning fees apply to pet hair, odors, or damage.

You are responsible for all traffic violations, tolls, parking tickets, and citations incurred during your rental period, plus any applicable administrative fees.

Every rental is insurance protected as described in your reservation confirmation. Coverage terms, deductibles, and exclusions are provided through the booking platform.

You must report any accident, damage, theft, or vandalism to us immediately and, where required by law, to law enforcement. You must complete any incident documentation reasonably requested.

You are responsible for damage to the vehicle during your rental period up to the applicable deductible or coverage limit, and for any damage excluded from coverage (including damage caused by prohibited use, unauthorized drivers, or negligence).

Personal property left in the vehicle is at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

Cancellation and change requests are handled through the booking platform per the cancellation policy shown at booking and in your confirmation.

Refund eligibility and timing depend on how far in advance the cancellation is made and the policy attached to your reservation.

We may cancel a reservation in cases of suspected fraud, failed driver verification, safety concerns, or vehicle unavailability, with any required refund issued per the platform’s policy.

Vehicles may be equipped with manufacturer or third-party telematics systems (such as OnStar or FordPass) that collect vehicle data such as location, mileage, fuel level, diagnostics, and driving events.

We use this data for vehicle safety, maintenance scheduling, theft recovery, and rental administration. By renting a vehicle, you acknowledge and consent to this data collection as described in our policies and the vehicle manufacturer’s privacy terms.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms or your rental confirmation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Destiny Travelers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost time, missed travel, or inconvenience arising from your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Destiny Travelers LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of the vehicle, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights during your rental.

All content on this website — including the Destiny Travelers name, logos, text, graphics, and design — is the property of Destiny Travelers LLC or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or scrape its content.

Third-party services embedded in the site (such as the Wheelbase booking widget) are governed by their own terms and privacy policies in addition to these Terms.

Your use of the Services is also subject to our Cookie Policy, which explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this site.

Personal information submitted through forms, reservations, or the booking platform is used to operate and improve the Services, communicate with you, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your rental will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
